The predictable schedule affords ample time to pursue education, recreation, and family goals. Many Tiger alumni report service in the Tiger Battalion as one of the most rewarding experiences of their careers. The Tiger Battalion offers unparalleled opportunities for officers and NCOs of all ranks. We conduct training across the United States, and execute outreach across the globe. We train units and individuals from across all three US Army components (Active, ARNG, and USAR), as well as joint personnel preparing to deploy as advisors. Our 275 personnel include leaders, cadre, and linguists from 35 different branches and MOS. Assigned to the Security Force Assistance Command (SFAC), 3-353rd REGT is located on North Fort Polk, Louisiana. The Tiger Battalion is FORSCOM’s premier training organization for the security cooperation and security force assistance mission. Train deploying FORSCOM units and key leaders across the United States to advise and assist foreign security forces to meet Geographic Combatant Commander security cooperation and security force assistance requirements.
